Position & arrival

Where we are

Winklerhof sits in Gais (near Brunico/Bruneck) in the Puster Valley, a few minutes from Kronplatz and just beyond the Austrian border.

By car

From Poland / Czechia / Slovakia: Via Austria and the Brenner Pass → Italy A22 → exit Bressanone/Val Pusteria → SS49/E66 to Brunico – Gais (well signposted).

From Romania (alternative): Via Hungary – Slovenia (Tarvisio) → A23/A2 Austria → A10/A12 to Innsbruck → Brenner Pass → as above.

Road tip: last supermarkets/fuel before Italy in Innsbruck/Matrei am Brenner; winter tires/chains required by season.

By train

International EC/Railjet to Innsbruck or Fortezza/Franzensfeste → regional train to Brunico (Bruneck) → short bus or taxi to Gais (10–15 min).

By air

Closest airports: Innsbruck (INN ~1.5 h), Verona (VRN ~2.5 h), Venice (VCE ~3 h), Munich (MUC ~3 h). Continue by rental car, shuttle, or train.

On site

Cancellations up to 60 days before arrival: free of charge; the deposit is retained only
Cancellations up to 30 days before arrival: 40% of the total agreed price.
Cancellations up to 10 days before arrival: 60% of the total agreed price.
Cancellations less than 10 days before arrival: 90% of the total agreed price.
In case of late arrival or early departure, we charge 100% of the price for the booked but unused days.
